Research infrastructure database
Austria is one of the few countries in the world that has a public research infrastructure database.
The Federal Ministry of Education, Science and Research (BMBWF) makes available a public research infrastructure database as an information platform to support the cooperative use of research infrastructure in science, research, business and industry in Austria in cooperation with the Austrian Economic Chamber (WKO) and the Federal Ministry of Digital and Economic Affairs (BMDW).
You can use this public database to find or offer research infrastructures for new collaborative projects or research services. The database provides an overview and an inventory of selected and available research infrastructures throughout Austria.
- Austrian National Research Infrastructure Action Plan 2014-2020 (The Austrian National Research Infrastructure Action Plan 2014-2020 addresses large-scale research infrastructures driven both by basic research and by applied research for the period 2014 to 2020)
- ESFRI Roadmap (The ESFRI Roadmap from the European Strategy Forum on Research Infrastructures (ESFRI) provides a roadmap for large-scale European research infrastructures. Austria participates in selected infrastructures)
- Research infrastructure database (This public database is an information platform to take stock of research infrastructures in the form of monitoring and strategic and evidence-based development and to bring about new collaborations in Austria. With this public database, you as a user can find research infrastructures for new collaborative projects or research services or offer them to others.)
